Overview

Fetchd (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the fetchd.shop platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, business name, and shop details that you provide during registration.

Connected Shop Data

When you connect your Etsy shop via OAuth, we access and store your shop name, listing titles, descriptions, images, prices, and other publicly available listing data. We use this data solely to create AI-discoverable product pages on your behalf.

Analytics Data

We collect information about how AI assistants interact with your product pages, including: AI source identification (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity), page impressions, click-throughs to your marketplace listings, user agent strings, referrer URLs, and anonymized IP hashes. We do not store raw IP addresses.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment method details. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and billing tier.

How We Use Your Information

  • To create and maintain AI-discoverable product pages from your connected shop listings
  • To provide analytics showing which AI platforms are discovering and recommending your products
  • To manage your subscription and billing
  • To communicate important service updates
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Fetchd:

  • Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
  • Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management
  • Etsy API — Shop connection and listing data import
  • Vercel — Application hosting and deployment
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — Bot protection

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

Data Retention

We retain your account data and connected shop data for as long as your account is active. Analytics data (impressions and clicks) is retained for the lifetime of your account. When you delete your account or disconnect your shop, we remove your listing data and product pages within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security on our database. OAuth tokens for connected shops are stored encrypted. We never store raw passwords — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with secure hashing.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Disconnect your shop at any time, which removes your public product pages
  • Export your analytics data

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage metrics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy

Fetchd is a business tool for marketplace sellers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use of Fetchd after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
